The AI tool guide for the trades. Real prices and public review ratings.

About, rankings, and disclosures

Who

This guide is run by Kevin. He has more than 10 years of trade dispatching experience: the phone, the board, and the day when both are already behind.

It is for owners and office managers in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, property and facility management, landscaping, and other small service businesses. The list includes AI tools and the shop software they sit next to, including a human answering service recorded as a benchmark. Each listing uses the research we wrote down, not a slogan we made up later.

Opulent Dispatch Services, the after-hours dispatch desk Kevin runs, is labeled on its own pages as our service. It is not a ranked listing, and it cannot pay for a higher place in a tool list.

How tools are ranked

Ranked by the average star rating across public review sites (G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, App Store, Google Play), counting sites with at least 5 reviews so no single site dominates. Tools with fewer than 10 such reviews are listed after, alphabetically. No tool can pay for a higher rank.

Ratings are copied from each site's public page on the date shown; Trustpilot scores companies rather than software and app-store ratings cover only the mobile app, so we show each source with at least 5 reviews separately. A source with fewer than 5 reviews is left off the page.

We do not invent a rating to fill a gap. Until a real public number is recorded, the tool page says “No public ratings found yet.”

Prices

A checked price only means we read that string on a vendor page on the date printed on the listing. “Verified” in a price status means the price was readable that day. It does not mean we used the product. If the vendor does not publish a price, the listing says so, and we do not invent one.

The research pass behind this version was checked on October 23, 2026.

Affiliate and paid placements

Affiliate links. Visit buttons go to the vendor’s own site. None of them are affiliate links right now. When a listing records a real affiliate URL, that button says Affiliate and is marked sponsored. A plain vendor link is not. If a visit button says Affiliate, we may earn a commission when you buy. An affiliate link never changes a tool’s rank. Adding an affiliate link does not change where the tool sits in the list.

Paid placements. A listing can be marked paid in its file when money or a swap is involved. The page then shows a Paid placement label on the tool and in the comparison table. That label is required. If the label cannot be shown, the placement does not run.

Paid placement is not read by the sort. Rank comes only from public review ratings. Payment does not move a tool up the table. Sponsored slots elsewhere on the site are labeled Sponsored and are not part of the ranked list.

If an affiliate commission or a placement fee is earned later, it will be Kevin’s. That does not change a price or a tool’s rank.
